In the 20th National Foreign Language School Teaching and Research Essay Contest held by the National Foreign language School Seminar, all of the five essays selected and submitted by our school were honored national awards, among which Ms. Wang Xue from Campus Two and Ms. Ding Yan from the Secondary School won the first prize, Ms.Liu Jing from Campus One and Ms. Pang Wenwen from the Secondary School won the second prize, and Ms. Yang Fan from the Senior High School was awarded the national outstanding award.

Shenzhen Foreign Language School, which undertook the contest, collected more than 180 essays from teachers of foreign language schools nationwide. After being rated anonymously by three experts, 15 essays were honored the first, 25 essays were awarded the second, 40 the third and 96 for the outstanding award. The contest demonstrates the high quality of our school’s English teaching and research. Meanwhile, it not only improves the young English teachers’ profession, but also enhances the communication among foreign language schools.
