In mid-spring, all things come to life. However, at this time of 2020, the sudden novel coronavirus pneumonia pressed a pause button on our lives, which made the fight against the epidemic at home nationwide, and made online classes a special way to start the new school semester. Concerned about the physical health of each student, the TBFLS Campus 3 held the “Cloud Sports Festival” in this specific period so as to arouse the students’ passion for exercise.

According to the students’ levels, 30-second quick swing of short rope, 30-second sit-ups, 30-second burpee, standing long jump, and elbow plank were selected as the items of the “cloud Sports Festival”. Faced with the novel ways of competition, the pupils, like little athletes, were full of enthusiasm and practised very hard. They made continuous breakthroughs and tried their best to complete the tasks, which were recorded by their parents as the entry videos.

Later, the teachers in the PE group overcame all kinds of difficulties and checked the videos one by one. After a fair and open judgment, the top three athletes in each class were finally awarded with the electronic certificates. By doing so, we aim to encourage the students to take an active part in such activities, and to carry forward a tough and courageous striving spirit. Besides, we also advocate that the students and their parents should not neglect the significance of strengthening physical fitness and fighting against the epidemic while attending the online classes. We hope that students could treasure the hard-won environment of learning and living, and develop a good habit of lifelong physical exercise.

This Cloud Sports Festival was held to show our gratitude and to pay tribute to the heroes who rush to the epicenter. Through this activity, the students were educated to bear in mind their mission and responsibility and to forge ahead to pass love and positive energy so as to harvest happiness and health.
