General Secretary Xi once said to children: "Life is created by labor, and the way of living is created by labor. You must establish the concept of glory in labor, do your own things by yourself, and strive to do things for public welfare, sowing hope and harvesting fruit as well as tempering your will through labor."

The Young Pioneers of our school actively participated in the online activity named as “little expert with family trait of diligence”, which is initiated by the Municipal Committee of Youth League and the Municipal Young Pioneers Working Committee, to strive for the title and medal, practicing and inheriting the glorious traditions of the Chinese nation - diligence, bravery, and love of labor, by striving to be a good citizen in the new era who not only is able to work, but will work hard with passions.

Family is the harbor for children to grow up happily, and family trait is the navigation light that leads children to grow up. The young pioneers really understood the essence of labor by interviewing their elders and listening to stories about labor and family traditions told by their elders.

The young pioneers not only understood the trait and meaning of labor, but also put their understanding of family trait into real life. The students kept in mind the instructions of General Secretary Xi, actively participated in the family work, and practiced the family tradition of diligence with their own actions.

Through practice, the Young Pioneers deeply realized the meaning of labor, which is presented on their posters. The young pioneers painted their own gains in labor with the brushes in their hands.

 In addition, the young pioneers also wrote down their own family trait and family motto as their life motto, which they will keep in mind. 

The activity for medal sowed a seed of love for labor in the hearts of the young pioneers. In the process of undertaking housework, the young pioneers’ perseverance and endurance got cultivated , family trait was inherited, and feelings about home and country began to grow.
