President Xi Jinping has extended congratulations and sincere greetings to young people of all ethnic groups on the occasion of the Youth Day: meaningful life comes from struggling and hardworking. Faced with a sudden Covid-19 outbreak, the youth of all ethnic groups have responded positively to the call of the Party and actively participated in the prevention and control of epidemic, which shows the sense of responsibility of the contemporary Chinese youth and has won high praise from the Party and the people.

Compared with predecessors, the contemporary youth have got a superior environment with ampler materials, more educational opportunities and a broader external vision. However, these conditions should not be the reasons for forgetting the spirit of the May Fourth Movement, but are precisely the conditions for better inheriting and carrying forward it.

As Chinese youth in the new era, we should inherit and carry forward the spirit of the May Fourth Movement. With firm ideas and beliefs, we should learn skills and devote ourselves into the development of a powerful China.
