In the 18th China Daily “21st Century” National High School and Primary School English Speaking Competition, Gao Yunhan from the Junior High School took the third place in the Tianjin Regional Finals and then won the first prize in the National Finals.

The competition consists of two parts: the prepared speech and the impromptu question and answer. The topic of the prepared speech is “My present for the 70th birthday of my country”, and Gao Yunhan’s present for our country is interviewing different groups of people about the 70th birthday of New China. Her unique perspective, novel speech content, and beautiful pronunciation and intonation won the praise of the judges and the audience. In the impromptu session, she responded quickly and gave the answers logically, winning the first prize in the competition and demonstrating the comprehensive qualities of students from TBFLS.

As a foreign language school, we adhere to the school-running concept of "Combing Chinese and western culture, cultivating International talents", so we always try to improve students' foreign language quality and broaden their international horizons. The excellent result in the National English Speaking Competition showed the high teaching level and the language teaching accomplishment of our school.
